New Perspectives on the Civil War
The purpose of the lecture series is to expose Rice University students to scholars, who are investigating nontraditional aspects of the Civil War era, bringing fresh perspectives to bear on older topics and demonstrating cutting-edge approaches to an overworked field of American history. The series is designed to coincide with the residency of Dr. Jaqueline G. Campbell as a HRC External Faculty Fellow.
Co-sponsored by the Department of History
